It’s illegal to tattoo anyone under the age of 18 therefore we require to see a valid/in-date photo ID, either a driver’s license or passport. If you attend your appointment without the required forms of identification, we will unfortunately not be able to tattoo you and you will not be eligible to receive your deposit back.

We suggest to avoid the following before getting a tattoo: • Avoid alcohol and drugs a minimum 24 hours before your appointment • Be well rested and get a good night’s sleep • Avoid excessive exercise before your appointment as this may make your appointment less comfortable • Do not arrive to your appointment with damaged skin - if you have any queries beforehand about your skin, please get in touch • Finally wear comfortable clothing to your appointment – loose clothing is best

It’s easy to say don’t be nervous as our artists at Studio 51 Ink will make sure you’re comfortable and treat you like a VIP throughout your session. To help calm any pre-tattoo nerves we advise the following: • Think of how awesome your tattoo will be after the appointment and focus on the end goal • Rest as much as possible before your appointment • Eat food and drink water before your tattoo appointment (a good excuse to eat chocolate to get those sugar levels up!) • Let your artist know at the beginning of the appointment about your nerves as they can talk through the process with you and make sure you are extra comfortable

Yes! We welcome walk-ins and you can simply walk-in to the studio or call/WhatsApp us beforehand on 07943471235.

Studio Ink 51 is wheelchair accessible. There are no steps to enter the studio and there is space for a wheelchair to move around the studio.

No, we advise not to copy a tattoo design found online. Not only do we pride ourselves on our unique and bespoke design but we also respect other artist’s work. We can however take inspirations from tattoos online and work closely with you to create a tattoo that you will love that is unique to you.
